Nucor Grating is growing and we are seeking to hire a Part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Brigham City, UT.


  • This individual will be responsible for clerical and administrative tasks for the Plant.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Facilitate communication between sales, engineering, and fabrication shop.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the fabrication and production schedules.
  • Prepare Bills of Lading and schedule shipments.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels as needed in our system.
  • Assist in special projects for the Plant Manager.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

Job Requirements


  • A minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative position.
  • High school diploma or GED.



  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
  • Must be readily adaptable to change.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
