Division:  Nucor Steel Kankakee

Nucor Steel Kankakee is seeking a strong candidate for the position of Administrator. This position will be responsible for the day to day administrative tasks including but not limited to:
• Assist multiple departments with general administrative tasks i.e. preparing documents, scheduling, assisting with
on and offsite events, ordering and tracking items, generating reports/presentations via excel/PowerPoint, etc.
• Organizing and arranging events, training, meetings, interviews and other items as needed
• Communicating effectively with teammates and leadership, keeping them informed of any pertinent information
• Backup review of timesheets as well as assisting supervisors/managers and HR in completing the payroll process
• Covering the switchboard as needed

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Associates degree
• Two years of experience in an administrative role
• Highly proficient using Microsoft product


PREFERENCES:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
