Nucor Grating is looking to hire a National Sales Manager – Specialty Products to join our growing team.

BASIC FUNCTIONS: 

  • Work closely with the marketing and sales departments to develop a targeted customer base, execute a sales plan and implement and maintain strong, loyal relationships with our direct and indirect customers in the areas of municipal, state and federally funded projects.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our customers.
  • Gather market intelligence by being an engaged member of the design, fabrication, and building communities.
  • Possess a technical proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, offering cost-effective solutions to problems, and creating proposals utilizing Nucor Grating specialty products, including Aluminum Swaged, Heavy Welded, Rivetted and press Locked Gratings.
  • Grow, mentor, and develop talent for the future as well as drive sales through staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, and disciplining employees when necessary.
  • Responsible for top line sales goals in the segment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, sales, service, and operations information.
  • Maintain quality sales and service by enforcing company standards; analyzing and resolving issues; identifying trends, and recommend system improvements.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A university degree or college diploma in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales, business development or marketing is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager.
  • Knowledge of specialty grating products markets for Aluminum, steel and related metal products required.
