BASIC FUNCTIONS: The principal duties include working with other IT team members to investigate and resolve computer related problems. This position will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and repairing workstations and networked printers, resolving hardware/software conflicts, creating and maintaining documentation of existing and future systems, and working with IT staff and/or vendors as required in order to resolve issues. This position will also be responsible for establishing relationships with individuals both inside IT and across the organization.

Job Requirements


  1. Associate degree, vocational certificate in IT-related field, or minimum of 2+ years related experience
  2. Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting MS Windows, Office, and other basic Windows applications
  3. Experience assembling, maintaining, and upgrading computer hardware and peripherals
  4. Customer support or helpdesk experience


  1. IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+
  2. Experience troubleshooting network and client connectivity
  3. Experience with handheld and mobile devices in a wireless environment
  4. Experience with workstation imaging software, such as Acronis.
  5. Experience in a heavy industrial job setting
