Basic Functions:

The Sales Service Administrator assists the Sales Service Department of Nucor Building Systems by supporting then administratively and clerically to enhance quality and productivity. Day-to-day functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Managing all orders and change orders within BomsNet. This includes following all orders in process within Sales Service to make sure all work is done in a timely manner.
  • Make and distribute all copies of orders and change orders to various departments within Nucor.
  • Point person in Sales Service for the continued development of BomsNet. This may require attending user group meetings in order to communicate Sales Service Needs to the program developers.
  • Assisting in creating monthly reports for distribution.
  • Responsible for continuing to update the Sales Service Administrator task manual describing in detail the job and tasks and function requirements.
  • Initiates, develops, and distributes all Warranty information to the customers and coordinators them within Nucor.
  • Assisting in the planning and implementing of customer meetings and training seminars.
  • Assisting others in the Sales Service Department as needed. This may include covering for them In their absence.
  • Providing back-up support to other administrative roles throughout the division.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School diploma
  • Must be able to use a keyboard and be capable of working with a computer, copier, fax machine, and any other tool within the Sales Service Department.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel programs is a must.
  • 1 year office experience.
